Quick Reference Guide: Core Features

Create custom activity feeds on MyCBI homepage

  1. From the MyCBI homepage, choose “Search” then “Deal Search” towards the upper left
  2. On the left side, choose your specific filtering criteria
  3. In the upper left, click “See Results”
  4. At the top of the filtering criteria, click “Save Search & Create Feed”
  5. Name your search
  6. In the upper left, click “MyCBI”
  7. Your MyCBI homepage will now have your feed

Note: Your saved search can also be found under “Launch a saved search…” at the top of the filtering criteria in Deal Search so that you can replicate the search"

Schedule a search

  1. From the MyCBI homepage, choose “Search” then “Deal Search” towards the upper left
  2. On the left side, choose your specific filtering criteria
  3. In the upper left, click “See Results”
  4. At the top of the filtering criteria, click “Create Email Alerts”
  5. Name your search
  6. Pick the frequency in which you want the deals delivered to your inbox

Note: The deals will come in a spreadsheet, and you will only be sent new deals fitting your criteria (not the results from your original search)

Export deals to Excel

  1. From the MyCBI homepage, choose “Search” then “Deal Search” towards the upper left
  2. On the left side, choose your specific filtering criteria
  3. In the upper left, click “See Results”
  4. Choose the companies you want to export
    • You can select all visible results by clicking the box next to “Company”
    • You can select all results of the search by clicking in the orange bar after clicking the box next to “Company”
  1. Above the results, click “Download to Excel”
  2. Confirm the download

Create a company list

  1. From the MyCBI homepage, choose “Search” then “Deal Search” towards the upper left
  2. On the left side, choose your specific filtering criteria
  3. In the upper left, click “See Results”
  4. Choose the companies you want to add to a list
    • You can select all visible results by clicking the box next to “Company”
    • You can select all results of the search by clicking in the orange bar after clicking the box next to “Company”
  5. Above the results, click “Add to list”
  6. You can also add to a new private list by clicking “Add to a new list”

Note:  You can create a list from Company Search as well

Share a search

  1. From the MyCBI homepage, choose “Search” then “Deal Search” towards the upper left
  2. On the left side, choose your specific filtering criteria
  3. In the upper left, click “See Results”
  4. Above the results, click “Share this search”
  5. You can either copy and paste the link in an email, or click “Email this link to a colleague” to open your default email program
